Job summary

SPSA seeks aTransfer Vehicle Operator to safely move solid waste between transfer stations and disposal sites. You will perform daily vehicle checks, maintain logs, and ensure compliance with DOT and SPSA requirements on and off public roads.

Responsibilities include operating unloading mechanisms, inspecting loads, and performing routine maintenance while following safety protocols and reporting needs to the Logistics Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL required with clean DMV record (less than 2 moving violations; no DUIs in 3 years).
• Equivalency accepted: experience plus education.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer to transport solid waste between SPSA transfer stations and disposal sites.
• Attach/detach trailer unloading mechanism per procedures.
• Inspect loads before closing tops and repack as needed.
