Qualifications

• Requires Class A CDL with two years of tractor-trailer experience or graduation from approved Tractor Trailer School with at least one year of experience driving a tractor-trailer.
• Good DMV record with fewer than two moving violations and no DUIs in three years.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operates a tractor-trailer to transport solid waste between SPSA Transfer Stations and other disposal sites, including the Landfill.
• Observes DOT and SPSA safety regulations and conducts safety checks.
• Inspects loads and repacks as necessary before transport.
• Monitors vehicle condition and performs routine inspections.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs daily basic maintenance.
• Keeps daily vehicle logs and reports service needs to Logistics Manager.
