APAC-Kansas, Inc., Shears Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a tractor trailer truck driver in Kansas to join a safety-focused team. You will be responsible for delivering materials, performing pre-trip inspections, and maintaining logs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
• Thrive in a safety-sensitive workplace and pass a “Fit for Work” physical.
• Professional conduct toward co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime, outdoors in all weather.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE in designated areas.
• Maintain a CDL Class B license; hazmat/tanker endorsements a plus.
• Maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record per company standards.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and load/unload materials as per dispatch instructions.
• Perform thorough daily vehicle inspections and maintain logs for compliance.
• Follow DOT guidelines and company safety policies at all times.
• Operate vehicle safely and maintain its condition with routine upkeep.
• Mentor less experienced team members and assist with general labor tasks.
