CRH's APAC-Kansas, Inc., Shears Construction in Kansas is seeking Production Workers to operate tack trucks and heavy equipment on road and highway projects, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and help maintain DOT compliance and site safety. Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class B with tanker endorsement and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical exam.
• Willingness to travel and work outdoors in all weather, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tack trucks and heavy equipment on road projects.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain documentation.
• Follow dispatch instructions, policies, and OSHA/MSHA safety rules.
• Load and unload materials, occasionally manually.
• Monitor vehicle performance and keep equipment clean and in good condition.
• Work in a team, communicate effectively, and mentor less experienced workers.
• Perform general labor duties as assigned.
