APAC-Kansas, Inc. is seeking a professional truck driver to support its Shears Construction operations in Kansas. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and dependable delivery of materials to various sites, with occasional travel and overnight stays as needed.

Candidates must hold a CDL Class A license, be 18+, pass pre-employment screenings, and be willing to work nights and weekends in all weather conditions. A Hazmat endorsement is a bonus and relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
• Thrive in a safety-sensitive workplace and pass a "Fit for Work" physical.
• Provide valid documentation for I-9 verification.
• Demonstrate professionalism and a courteous attitude toward co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
• Embrace travel and working away from home when required.
• Show flexibility to work nights, weekends, overtime, and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strictly follow all safety procedures and wear PPE in designated areas.
• Hold a current driver's license that meets state requirements (CDL, Class A; hazmat and tanker endorsements a plus).
• Maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets company standards.
• Be at least 18 years old to comply with workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• As a truck driver, you'll be a vital part of our team, collaborating with co-workers and managers to keep operations running smoothly.
• You'll uphold our high standards for safety and professionalism while delivering exceptional service.
• We are looking for a candidate that is close to Oakley or Goodland, Kansas.
• Follow dispatch instructions and obey all applicable laws and regulations.
• Keep meticulous logs of vehicle mileage and monitor gauges during operation.
