Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, seeks an experienced CDL truck driver (Class B) to safely operate tanker-equipped vehicles on highway and job-site routes. You will conduct pre/post-trip inspections, comply with DOT logs, and transport liquid materials according to safety guidelines.

Qualifications include Tankers, Hazmat, and Airbrakes endorsements, a clean driving record, and at least 3 years in road or construction work.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class B license.
• Endorsements for Tankers, Hazmat and Airbrakes.
• Clean driving record required.
• Minimum 3 years in road or construction field, outdoors in extreme weather.
• Ability to read, understand and write simple sentences and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic skillset of Tac truck driver 1.
• Arrive at proper time and location for start of work.
• Maintain and perform daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Comply with DOT Hours of Service and logs as needed.
• Load, spray, and unload liquid materials safely and efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols during traffic control and vehicle operation.
• Communicate with supervisor and crews as required.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and document defects.
• Lead crew in quarterly cleaning events and ensure good housekeeping.
