Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a CDL B truck driver in Louisiana. You will operate and maintain a tanker/spray system, perform pre/post trip inspections, and follow DOT regulations.

You will support safety-focused operations across road and construction sites, reading simple texts and performing basic math as needed. Applicants must hold Tankers, Hazmat, and Airbrakes endorsements, have a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of outdoor construction experience in varied

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class B drivers license.
• Must have Tankers, Hazmat, and Airbrakes Endorsements.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in road or construction field, outdoors in extreme weather.
• Ability to read, understand and write simple sentences, and perform simple math equations.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic skillset of Tac truck driver 1.
• Arrive at proper time and location for start of work.
• Maintain and perform daily pre and post trip inspections.
• Comply with DOT Hours of Service and logs when needed.
• Know proper loading, spraying, and unloading of liquid materials on/off truck safely and efficiently.
• Follow heating material guidelines in truck tank.
• Use hand signals during traffic control and assist equipment operators.
• Pre-check work zone and TAR review for proper markings.
• Keep truck, tank, and spray bar clean and maintained.
• Lead crew with quarterly cleaning events and safety protocol.
