Job summary

Barriere Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a CDL Class B driver with Tankers, Hazmat and Airbrakes endorsements for outdoor, outdoor work in Louisiana. The role requires a clean driving record and at least 3 years of road/construction experience, including reading and writing simple sentences and basic math.

Responsibilities include operating a Class 7 vehicle, performing inspections, adhering to DOT hours of service, and ensuring safe loading/unloading of liquids.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL Class B license.
• Must have Tankers, Hazmat, and Airbrakes endorsements.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in road or construction outdoors.
• Be able to read, understand and write simple sentences, and perform simple mathematical equations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a Class 7 vehicle or equivalent per supervisor instructions.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle.
• Adhere to DOT Hours of Service and logs when required.
• Load, transport, and unload liquids safely with truck and spray system.
• Follow all safety protocols and communicate with supervisors and crews.
