Job summary

Spring Creek Corporation, a unit within Barrett Industries, seeks a Tanker Driver to safely transport bulk cement from terminals to company facilities and customer locations. You will operate a commercial tractor-trailer and pneumatic dry-bulk tanker, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complete transportation documentation.

The role requires a Valid Class A CDL, a DOT Physical Card, an acceptable driving record, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• DOT Physical Card required.
• Acceptable driving record essential.
• Drug and alcohol free.
• Vision must be acceptable for day and night driving.
• Willingness to work weekends and long hours during peak season.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a commercial tractor-trailer and pneumatic dry-bulk tanker to transport cement and related materials.
• Perform and document pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
• Identify and report defects, spills, or safety concerns promptly.
• Verify product, quantity, destination, and documentation before leaving terminal and before unloading.
• Safely load and unload bulk cement, preventing spills and cross-contamination.
• Connect/disconnect hoses and monitor pressures during unloading.
• Follow all safety procedures and DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderly condition of equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and dispatch.
