Job summary

You will work in a fast-paced yard, coordinating with management to ensure smooth trailer movements and safe operations throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include performing pre- and post-trip inspections, documenting trailer moves, and maintaining DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) file.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL - Class A) to operate in interstate commerce is required
• Ability to understand and follow instruction regarding work duties and safety methods.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers to and from unload/load doors and throughout the yard.
• Coordinate trailer movements in the yard with management and central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Follow yard switching safety processes and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned
