Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a yard switcher/operator in Charlotte, NC to move trailers between yards and doors and to assist with loading/unloading of packages as required. You will coordinate trailer movements with yard management, document actions, and perform safety inspections.

Responsibilities include operating switcher equipment, following safety procedures, and working in a fast-paced yard environment.

• No formal education required.

• Coordinate trailer movements with management or central control.
• Document trailer moves using Yard Management System or switcher cards.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on switcher equipment.
• Follow yard switching safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
