Job summary

SP+ is seeking a Shuttle Driver DOT to operate shuttle buses safely and convey passengers efficiently. You will ensure a high-quality customer experience, perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and assist disabled passengers.

The role requires punctuality, a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement, and compliance with DOT regulations. Responsibilities include navigating the garage and surrounding area, assisting with luggage, and supporting the Facility Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School or 1 month related experience.
• License: Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Math: Basic addition, subtraction and money calculations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise.
• Perform vehicle inspections, keep bus interiors clean, fuel buses, log trips, assist disabled passengers.
• Be at work on time, in uniform, every scheduled day.
• Know the garage area, major streets and landmarks to assist customers.
• Assist with luggage or traveling items when applicable and shuttle at airport locations.
