Job summary

SP+ Shuttle Driver DOT will be responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers in an efficient, safe, and seamless manner.

Responsibilities include outstanding customer service, vehicle inspections, keeping buses clean, fueling, logging trips, and assisting passengers with mobility and luggage as needed. A CDL with Passenger Endorsement and DOT Medical Card are required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience.
• License: Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Language: Read/write simple instructions and present information to customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by SP+ Promise.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain bus cleanliness, fueling, log trips, assist disabled passengers.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and present at work every scheduled day.
• Possess a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, spills to the garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when needed.
• Know garage areas and local streets to assist customers.
• Assist customers with luggage and travel items when applicable.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties.
