Job summary

QXO is seeking a Shuttle Driver (CDL Class A or B) to safely transport building materials and manage intercompany transfers across branches and distribution centers. You will load, secure, and verify loads while maintaining DOT compliance and accurate documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and operational excellence with frequent driving between facilities and potential early mornings or overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL Class A or CDL Class B driver’s license in good standing.
• Previous shuttle, commercial driving, or transportation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport building materials, inventory, equipment, and products between company locations.
• Operate CDL vehicles in compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts and secure loads for safe transport.
• Maintain communication with dispatch and warehouses regarding delivery status.
• Support inventory accuracy and participate in downtime or back-to-back shuttle assignments.
• Promote safety by following all policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
