Job summary

QXO is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport building materials between branches, warehouses, and distribution centers. The role supports on-time intercompany transfers and requires adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and can manage transportation schedules with strong communication and customer-service skills. This is a field-based position involving outdoor conditions and variable hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid CDL Class A or B license.
• Proven safe driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and screenings.
• Experience with unloading/loading materials and basic forklift use preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport building materials between company locations and facilities.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Load, unload, and secure materials using approved practices and equipment.
• Maintain accurate documents and assist with inventory transfer processes.
• Follow all safety, DOT, OSHA policies and support continuous improvement.
