Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a CDL Driver in Chicago, IL to transport passengers and employees to assigned destinations safely and efficiently. You will greet and assist guests, ensuring a high standard of customer service and safety throughout each shift.

Responsibilities include assisting ADA passengers when needed, working closely with team members, and performing daily tasks as a professional driver with flexibility for weekends or holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL license (1+ years preferred).
• Must comply with Federal DOT, State, Local rules & company policy.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Valid CDL with proper endorsements.
• Valid Medical Card or ability to pass DOT medical exam.
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles.
• Greet, engage, and thank guests 100% of the time.
• Assist passengers including ADA passengers when needed.
• Communicate effectively within a team to maximize productivity.
• Work independently and perform daily tasks as a professional driver.

Spirit Of The Position

LAZ CDL Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.

What does a day in the life of a LAZ CDL Driver look like?

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable.
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirements

• 1 or more years with a CDL license.
• Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with proper endorsement(s).
• Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
