Job summary

LAZ Parking in Columbus, OH is seeking a Shuttle Driver to safely transport passengers and employees to and from designated destinations. You will operate company vehicles, assist boarding, and uphold DOT and company policies.

The role requires 3+ years driving, a valid license with passenger endorsement if required, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. Flexibility, including weekends or holidays, is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 or more years of driving experience.
• Comply with Federal DOT, State Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Driver’s License with passenger endorsement if applicable for state regulations.
• Ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest – 100% of the time.
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers if applicable.
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Spirit of the Position:

LAZShuttle Driveris responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.

What does a day in the life of a LAZ Shuttle Driver look like?

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• GET 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest – 100% of the time).
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers if applicable.
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements — heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
