Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Shuttle Driver to provide safe, efficient transportation for passengers and employees to destinations while upholding safety standards.

The role requires strong English reading/writing skills, DOT compliance, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays. You will operate vehicles, assist passengers, and coordinate with team members to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of driving experience.
• Comply with Federal DOT, State rules and company policy.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Valid Driver’s License with passenger endorsement if applicable.
• Pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• Greet, engage, and thank passengers (GET 100) 100% of the time.
• Assist passengers during boarding and exiting, including ADA passengers.
• Communicate effectively and work in a team to maximize productivity.
• Perform daily tasks as a professional driver.

Spirit Of The Position

LAZ Shuttle Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.

What does a day in the life of a LAZ Shuttle Driver look like?

• Safely operating company vehicles.
• GET 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers if applicable.
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of driving experience.
• Comply with Federal DOT, State Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Driver’s License with passenger endorsement if applicable for state regulations.
• Ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.

Physical Demands

• Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50lbs.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
