SP Plus Corporation in New York City is hiring a Shuttle Driver. You will operate shuttle buses safely, perform inspections, and assist passengers with mobility needs, luggage, and directions. Compliance with CDL requirements, DOT medical card, and a valid DMV record is essential.

Qualifications

• Vaccination against COVID-19 may be required at this location.
• Education/Experience: less than high school or 1 month related experience.
• License: CDL Class A, B or C with Passenger Endorsement required.
• DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner’s Certificate) required.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including possible 3rd shift or weekends.
• Language: ability to read/write simple English and communicate with customers.
• Mathematics: basic money calculations.
• Appearance: neat, in uniform at all times.
• Physical: stand/walk, lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of bus interiors.
• Fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be punctual and in uniform for scheduled shifts.
• Possess and maintain a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement; DMV record in good standing.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Know garage areas and local landmarks to assist customers.
• Assist with luggage when applicable and support the Facility Manager as needed.
