Job summary

Minnesota Coaches LLC is seeking reliable School Bus Route Driver to transport students along designated routes in Minnesota. You will ensure timely arrivals, perform safety inspections, and assist students including those with disabilities while delivering excellent customer service.

Starting pay is $28.69 per hour with up to $31.31/hour including a safety bonus; 8 paid hours guaranteed per school day and opportunities for additional charter work.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience in school bus driving preferred, but not necessary.
• Basic mechanical understanding for pre-trip inspections.
• Clear English communication; multilingual is a plus.
• Excellent customer service and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to write reports and maintain records.
• Background checks and pre-employment drug test required.
• Commitment to safely transporting students.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a vehicle along assigned routes, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and compliance.
• Assist passengers during boarding and disembarking, including children and disabilities.
• Maintain accurate passenger counts, mileage, and incident records.
• Communicate route changes with dispatchers and team members.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws while driving.
