Job summary

WM (Waste Management) in Stockton, CA is hiring for a CDL-B truck driver. The role starts early, Monday–Friday, with a $30.15/hour base pay and safety-focused daily tasks on designated routes.

The position requires a valid CDL-Class B, at least 18 years old, and one year of driving experience or equivalent military driving. You will perform inspections, report issues, and support route efficiency while ensuring a clean, safe worksite.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English well to interact with the public and complete records.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and physical.
• CDL-B license required with at least 1 year driving experience (CDL or military).
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates a heavy-duty truck on designated routes in compliance with OSHA, DOT and company rules.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents issues on DVIR.
• Reports unsafe conditions promptly to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Dumps containers at customer sites and leaves the area clean and orderly.
• Communicates customer requests to Dispatch or Route Manager and completes tickets as needed.
• Follows routes, assists other drivers as directed, and maintains required daily records.
