Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in Durham seeks a Route Sales Driver to deliver dairy products and provide top-notch customer service on a daily route. You will stock and rotate products, manage inventory, and use a handheld computer to process orders while meeting safety and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• CDL with Class A or B required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer service or sales experience is a plus.
• Direct Store Delivery experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and physical abilities test.
• Must be organized with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dairy products safely and on time to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service to retain and expand sales.
• Stock, rotate, and remove unsellable product.
• Maintain a clean, fully stocked display for each customer.
• Use handheld computer to order, calculate sales, and track inventory daily.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policy, including inspections and paperwork daily.
• Maintain assigned truck in neat and clean condition.
