Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling, LLC is seeking a Class A CDL Route Driver to safely collect and deliver used tires on assigned routes. You will work with a Route Helper to load and stack tires and complete all required documentation with a focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, DOT regulatory knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and customers. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Johnston, SC, with standard driving schedules

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Ability to safely operate Class A vehicle on route-based collections.
• Willingness to perform repetitive physical labor (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Strong safety, accuracy, and compliance mindset.
• Must meet FMCSA driver qualifications.
• DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A vehicle on assigned routes to remove tires.
• Work with a Route Helper to load, stack, and secure tires.
• Complete required documentation and DOT logs accurately.
• Conduct pre/post/ en-route inspections and report safety concerns.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and dispatch.
• Ensure loads meet safety and DOT requirements.
