Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must meet FMCSA driver qualifications.
• Acceptable DMV/MVR per DOT.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• Able to meet DOT physical, background, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Professional appearance and conduct at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned routes to remove used tires from customer locations.
• Work with a Route Helper to load and secure tires onto the truck.
• Manually handle and stack tires weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Serve as primary contact at customer locations and complete service documentation.
• Ensure loads are properly stacked and compliant with DOT and safety requirements.
• Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and en-route inspections; file DVIRs.
• Complete DOT logs, route paperwork, and bills of lading.
• Maintain clean, safe equipment.
• Communicate route status and delays with dispatch and operations.
• Navigate routes using maps, GPS; account for traffic/weather.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and stores.
• Follow safety policies and perform additional duties as needed.
