Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to operate a semi-truck or vacuum truck to collect animal mortalities, fat and bone, or grease from customer locations. The role requires CDL A with tanker endorsements and strict adherence to DOT regulations.

Key duties include inspecting materials, maintaining the vehicle, completing route tickets, and providing professional service. Occasional lifting and travel to off-site locations are expected; night and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years old with clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• CDL A with tanker endorsements.
• Must be registered on Clearinghouse FMCsa DOT.

Responsibilities

• Collects and inspects raw material at time of pick up for any foreign or hazardous material at customer location.
• Maintains vehicle and ensures cleanliness; handles route tickets and customer signatures.
• Maintains Electronic DOT log and adheres to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Drives route as assigned and maintains professional customer relations.
