Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Driver Merchandiser to drive and deliver pre-ordered product to assigned accounts on specified routes. You will merchandise, display, and rotate products to company standards.

You will use computer technology to prepare customer invoices, collect money, and settle accounts daily while delivering excellent customer service. Adhere to DOT regulations and company policies, and collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• CDL Class A with clean MVR; Illinois CDL required.
• Ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification.
• Must be 21+ years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• CDL covers both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Prior experience using pallet jack preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers products to customers on assigned route and rotates products per company standards.
• Uses computer technology to create customer invoices, collect money due, and settle all customer accounts daily.
• Provides excellent customer service and follows up to resolve issues.
• Ensures compliance with DOT regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with other departments to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
