Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a Trainee-DOT to learn and perform Route Delivery duties, including safe operation of delivery vehicles and service of accounts along a designated route in accordance with PBV and customer standards.

The role emphasizes DOT/FMCSA compliance, accurate check-in procedures, and customer service excellence, with growth potential within a large beverage distribution network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Zero to two years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Class A CDL required.
• Must pass a DOT physical before first day.
• Must be able to obtain CDL permit within 45 business days if CDL not held.
• Positive attitude and detail oriented.
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre/post-trip inspections per DOT requirements.
• Safely drives and maneuvers a truck.
• Safely unloads product and checks in deliveries.
• Stocks shelves, displays, and ensures proper rotation.
• Breaks down boxes and manages returns for proper credit.
• Collects signatures and invoices for end-of-day settlement.
• Communicates issues to store personnel and management.
• Complies with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
