Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to safely and efficiently service waste removal routes, collecting debris or recyclables from industrial, residential, or recycle sites and transporting to post-collection facilities.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain DOT logs, and interact with customers while complying with DOT/OSHA/EPA standards to keep sites clean and safe.

Qualifications

• CDL required and valid.
• 21+ years old.
• 1+ year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Able to meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Able to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a roll-off truck along designated routes to collect/deliver containers and haul to post-collection facilities.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers and the public; notify supervisor of issues.
• Keep truck and area clean; manage spills and debris.
• Maintain DOT logs, route productivity sheets, and post-trip inspections as required.
• Navigate using maps and GPS; follow all safety procedures and regulations.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA standards.
