Job summary

GFL Environmental is hiring a Roll-Off Driver to safely operate roll-off trucks and hydraulics, delivering reliable waste services across diverse routes. You will perform pre/post inspections, maintain logs, and represent the company professionally to customers on every stop.

The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of commercial driving or completed CDL training, and the ability to handle physical tasks and paperwork. A strong safety record and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving or completion of an accredited CDL training program.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy truck machinery, perform basic written paperwork (inspections, route reports), and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Drive & Deliver: Safely operate roll-off trucks and hydraulic hoists to haul, drop off, and pick up waste containers.
• Safety First: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report mechanical needs or route hazards.
• Customer Champion: Represent GFL with a professional demeanor, delivering friendly and dependable service to every customer.
• Precision Operations: Navigate traffic, perform precise maneuvers, and keep cab and equipment clean and maintained.
• Team Player: Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and branch management to streamline routes and attend safety briefings.
