Job summary

Waste Pro USA, Inc. is hiring energetic CDL drivers to support our Roll-Off operations nationwide. The role involves delivering and emptying large containers for commercial customers, with an emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualified candidates have a Class A or B CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to communicate in English. The position may require working in various weather conditions and extended hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works; clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Understand refuse collection policies and DOT/state requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
• Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction; see in the normal visual range with or without correction.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions; maintain written records.
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers, coworkers, dispatch and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Secure containers by attaching hook to container; use levers to pull containers onto the bed, secure straps and tarp as needed.
• Provide courteous and expeditious service in all aspects of refuse operation to customers.
• Answer questions for customers and direct to Customer Service or Sales for more information.
• Operate compaction and lift equipment on the vehicle.
• Perform Daily Pre and Post Trip inspections and complete safety DVIR as per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean truck; inspect under hood and tires; wash exterior weekly.
