Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program.
• Graduation from a Commercial Driver’s License Training School.
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, loaders, and snow removal equipment during maintenance activities.
• Perform flagging duties to guide traffic safely through work areas.
• Complete tasks using hand tools to clear brush, clean culverts, repair signs, and support roadway upkeep.
• Perform minor repairs, complete field adjustments, and maintain equipment records.
• Follow safety procedures, observe work hazards, and report incidents promptly.
• Apply environmental protection practices required for maintenance activities.
