Job summary

You will perform equipment operation, CDL compliance, flagging duties, manual labor tasks, and maintenance of equipment records while adhering to federal and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Completion of Transportation Equipment Operator Trainee Program or equivalent.
• Graduation from a Commercial Driver’s License Training School or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, loaders, and assigned equipment to support maintenance activities.
• Maintain proper licensing, complete daily checks, and meet all certification requirements.
• Perform flagging duties to help keep work zones safe when equipment is not being operated.
• Use tools and perform tasks such as cleaning culverts, cutting brush, repairing guiderails, and installing signs.
• Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and maintain awareness of hazards in work areas.
• Make field adjustments, perform minor repairs, assist mechanics, and maintain equipment records.
