Job summary

Texas Disposal Systems seeks a Residential Collection Driver to operate a residential system truck, load containers from customers, and deliver to landfills or transfer stations. You will ensure DOT compliance and provide courteous service to customers, with shifts including nights and weekends.

The role requires a Texas Class B CDL, medical card, and a safe driving record, plus at least one year of related truck driving experience. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Class B CDL required.
• Medical Card and safe driving record for the past five years.
• One year of related medium or heavy truck driving experience.
• Ability to read/write/speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Operate residential system truck and collect containers per route.
• Ensure the truck is fueled, safe to operate, and paperwork is on board.
• Record time and stops in the fleet routing software.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and submit Vehicle Condition Report (VCR).
• Provide courteous, professional service to customers.
• Maintain DOT compliance and report violations or accidents as required.
