Job summary

Waste Pro Residential Driver operates refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned and special routes to pick up garbage, yard waste, or recycling. Oversees helpers on the route; performs pre-trip and post-trip truck checks; and completes related tasks under supervision.

Job requires safe driving on established routes, courteous public service, adherence to DOT rules, and daily vehicle inspections. May involve emergency situations and training participation.

Qualifications

• Follows Safety and DOT guidelines in all operations.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and meets on-time goals.
• Provides courteous, expeditious customer service to the public and customers.
• Ensures proper pickup of garbage, yard waste, and recycling along assigned routes.
• Completes pre-trip and post-trip inspections and safety documents per Waste Pro policies.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and performs routine equipment checks.
