Job summary

A waste management company in Cleveland is seeking CDL Residential Front Load Drivers to service customers by collecting waste and recycling materials. Candidates must have a Class B CDL, be able to handle physical tasks, and adhere to safety regulations. Strong communication skills are essential. This position requires driving in various conditions, including congested areas. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of CDL driving experience are required. Qualifications

• Must have at least a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain before hire.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• Must not have any DUI's or OVI's in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operates all trucks in compliance with regulations.
• Provides trash or recycling removal services.
• Conducts pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Maintains and updates route sheets.
• Cleans up waste spills and overflows.

Skills

Ability to read and understand a map

Ability to perform physical requirements of the job

Ability to drive all types of trucks in residential fleet

General knowledge of mechanics of trucks

Good written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to read and speak English

Education

High School Diploma or GED
