Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking an experienced commercial driver to operate front-end, side-loading, or rear-loading refuse trucks on pre-assigned routes in Asheville, NC. You will perform pre/post trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure safe, compliant collection of garbage, yard waste, and recycling.

CDL is required with at least two years of waste industry driving in the past seven years. This full-time role demands reliability, safety, and good customer service skills in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• CDL required and clean driving record.
• 2 years waste industry driving experience in past 7 years.
• Must be 21 years or older and able to read/speak English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and adheres to safety and time guidelines.
• Provides courteous customer service to residents and businesses on all routes.
• Performs daily pre- and post-trip inspections and completes logs as required by DOT and company policy.
• Maintains truck cleanliness and reports mechanical issues promptly.
• Follows DOT/state requirements for operation of commercial motor vehicles.
