Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Covington, KY is hiring Residential Rear Load Drivers to service customers and haul waste to disposal sites. You’ll operate various trucks and cover routes in the local area.

Candidates must have a valid Class B CDL and a DOT Medical Card, be at least 19 years old, and be prepared to work nights and weekends as needed. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map.
• Ability to enter/exit the truck 300–500 times per day.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services to customers, safely and compliantly.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck approx. 300–500 times per day, depending on route.
• Move containers from enclosures or inside buildings as needed.
• Replace trash/recycling receptacles neatly at curb or designated area.
• Clean up waste spills and overflows; maintain route and driver logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and complete logs.
• Interact professionally with customers and provide excellent service.
• Deliver containers as required and perform other duties as assigned.
