Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Rear Load Truck Driver to service customers by collecting waste and recycling materials on scheduled routes. This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable daily performance in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, operate trucks and hauling equipment, and interact professionally with customers while maintaining route logs and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL
• Must have a valid DOT Medical Card
• Must be at least 19 years old
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 2 years
• No DUIs/OVIs in the last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and compliantly
• Enter/exit truck 300-600 times daily depending on route
• Move containers from enclosures/buildings as needed
• Maintain route and driver logs
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Interact professionally with customers and provide great service
• Operate trucks and packer blade, keep cab clean
• Deliver containers and load bulk items as needed
• Work flexible hours including nights and weekends
