Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a CDL driver to safely and efficiently transport ready mix concrete from batch plants to customer sites. You will maintain slump and unload per customer specifications, while inspecting and cleaning the mixer truck.

This role requires effective communication with dispatch and onsite teams, along with adherence to safety standards. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid CDL with tanker endorsement, and about two years of experience driving

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience driving ready mix concrete trucks preferred.
• Valid CDL with tanker endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Ready Mix Concrete Products to customer jobsites.
• Communicate with Dispatcher/Plant Manager to receive instructions via radio or phone.
• Position truck under batch plant to be loaded; receive delivery ticket and follow instructions.
• Inspect, service and clean concrete mixer truck; perform pre/post-trip checks.
