Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a driver to safely transport ready mix concrete from batch plants to customer jobsites in Gainesville, VA. You will unload according to customer specifications, maintain slump, and perform routine vehicle checks to ensure reliable service.

Responsibilities include communicating with dispatch, coordinating loading, and maintaining cleanliness of the truck and work area while adhering to safety policies and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience driving ready mix concrete trucks preferred.
• Valid CDL with tanker endorsement required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Ready Mix Concrete Products to customer jobsites.
• Communicate with Dispatcher/Plant Manager for instructions.
• Position truck for loading and unload per delivery ticket.
• Maintain proper water slump and ensure safe unloading.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections and report vehicle condition.
