Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a driver to safely transport ready mix concrete from batch plants to customer jobsites, unloading as per customer specifications. The role entails maintaining slump, inspecting and cleaning mixer trucks, and coordinating with dispatch for efficient deliveries.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED, and a CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred. Two years of concrete truck driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED. CDL with tanker endorsement preferred.
• Two (2) years experience driving ready mix concrete trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Ready Mix Concrete Products to customers.
• Communicate with Dispatcher/Plant Manager to receive instructions.
• Perform pre-trip/post-trip vehicle safety inspections and maintain vehicle condition.
• Assist in maintenance of yard, plant and office.
