Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record.
• Professional and courteous attitude at all times.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat/cold and other conditions.
• Ability to operate equipment, load/unload, and perform repetitive motions.
• Pass pre-employment checks including background, DOT physical, drug screen, and MVR.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate truck in accordance with all applicable regulations.
• Efficiently load and deliver perishable product with service focus.
• Assist with plant maintenance, cleanup and other duties as assigned by supervisor when not driving.
• Complete required pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance as needed.
• Operate truck to receive load, check slump, and drive to job site; maintain clean equipment.
• Complete forms, tickets, and paperwork in a timely manner.
• Keep inside/outside of truck clean and organized.
• Communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and management to ensure smooth information flow for customer service.
• Interact with customers and coworkers professionally and respectfully.
• Knowledge of ready-mix industry is a plus.
