AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring Service Technicians in Clinton, NJ. The role involves installing and repairing propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, safely operating a service vehicle, and following all safety regulations.

You may also perform delivery duties as needed. The position requires a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a satisfactory driving record, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• A clean driving record is required.
• DOT physical and background check are required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom on assigned routes.
• Repair existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks and systems for customers.
• On occasion perform Delivery Representative duties, delivering bulk or canister propane.
• Adhere to all safety rules, codes, and AmeriGas policies; use PPE.
• Work 8 to 10-hour shifts depending on demand.
