Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, the nation’s largest propane distributor, has immediate openings for a Service Technician near Concord, NH. You will install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers, while upholding the highest safety and customer-service standards.

Requirements include a valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, ability to lift 70 lbs, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check completed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom along provided service routes.
• Perform repairs on existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative functions, such as delivering bulk or canister propane.
• Perform all daily functions in a safe manner by adhering to all federal and state codes and regulations in addition to all AmeriGas Safety and Operations Policies and Procedures.
• Consistent use of required Personal Protective Equipment.
• Depending on fluctuating needs, work 8 to 12-hour shifts.
