Job summary

EXO Inc. is seeking a CDL Driver / Pole Replacement Technician to transport equipment and safely replace utility poles across the United States. You will operate a heavy tractor-trailer, load and unload cargo, follow routes, and maintain records.

The role requires a Valid Class A CDL, MT/VT Crane Operator, high school diploma, and strong safety discipline. Experience in pole replacement and solid communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• MT/VT Crane Operator.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in pole replacement, construction, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to FMCSA and pole replacement work.
• Ability to operate specialized equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a heavy tractor-trailer rig per routes and schedules.
• Load and unload poles and equipment and secure cargo.
• Navigate predetermined routes and monitor traffic/weather for timely delivery.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Document inspections, mileage logs, fuel purchases, and deliveries.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
• Safely remove and replace utility poles with cranes and hand tools.
• Operate cranes and related equipment to support pole replacement.
• Collaborate with team members and customers to coordinate projects.
• Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers and the public.
