Qualifications
- Active PA Class A or B CDL with air brake restriction removed.
- Medical Examiner's Certificate must be maintained.
- Tank Vehicle Endorsement (N) required during probation.
- Certification by PennDOT to operate heavy trucks and loaders within probation.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks, loaders, and other highway construction equipment.
- Maintain CDL credentials and complete daily equipment checks.
- Perform flagger duties to support safe work zones when not operating equipment.
- Carry out physical tasks such as clearing brush and repair work.
- Complete field adjustments, minor repairs, and cleaning of equipment.
- Monitor safety and report hazards, accidents, or near misses.
