Job summary

Primoris Services Corp. is seeking a CDL-Operator to safely operate commercial vehicles and heavy equipment across our construction and infrastructure projects. You will transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites while maintaining accurate logs and performing routine inspections.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. You should be prepared for physical labor, varying weather conditions, and travel to

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transports materials and equipment to and from construction sites.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documents deficiencies.
• Operates heavy equipment as required and adheres to safety protocols.
• Maintains logs and mileage reports with accuracy.
• Assists with loading/unloading materials using proper lifting techniques.
• Communicates project progress and safety concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment.
• Travels to various job sites as needed.

This role involves transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites, as well as performing various operational tasks as needed. Job Responsibilities:\*\* \* Operates commercial vehicles with a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in accordance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies. \* Transports materials, such as aggregate, asphalt, dirt, and equipment, to and from construction sites. \* Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, documenting any deficiencies and ensuring they are in safe operating condition. \* Operates various heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers, rollers) as required by project needs, demonstrating proficiency and adherence to safety protocols. \* Maintains accurate logbooks, mileage reports, and other required documentation. \* Assists with loading and unloading materials and equipment, utilizing proper lifting techniques and safety procedures. \* Communicates effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and team members regarding project progress, material needs, and safety concerns. \* Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of vehicles and equipment. \* Adheres to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations. \* May assist ground crew with manual labor tasks when not operating equipment.
