Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, CDL Class A with clean record, and OSHA 10/30 is a plus. The position involves rescue and storm restoration tasks as needed and may include weekly pay

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead electrical and telecommunication lines, cables, and associated equipment.
• Work with various types of conductors, transformers, insulators, and other line materials.
• Operate aerial lift devices (bucket trucks), digger derricks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform pole climbing and work at significant heights to access and repair infrastructure.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Troubleshoot and identify issues with overhead lines and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:\*\* \* Install, repair, and maintain overhead electrical and telecommunication lines, cables, and associated equipment. \* Work with various types of conductors, transformers, insulators, and other line materials. \* Operate aerial lift devices (bucket trucks), digger derricks, and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. \* Perform pole climbing and work at significant heights to access and repair infrastructure. \* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders. \* Troubleshoot and identify issues with overhead lines and equipment. \* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards. \* Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. \* Participate in emergency call-outs and storm restoration efforts as required. \* Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers.
