Job summary

Longyear Harvesting & Transportation seeks an experienced Log Truck Driver to join the team in Marquette, MI. Safety is the top priority; duties include operating a log truck, transporting wood products to job sites, performing maintenance, and maintaining accurate trip tickets while complying with ELD requirements.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires a Class A CDL with knowledge of DOT regulations. Excellent driving record and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Class A CDL required.
• Working knowledge of State and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate log truck safely consistent with Company, local, state and federal DOT regulations.
• Transport wood products to/from job sites, log yards and customers during day, evening or overnight hours.
• Perform maintenance tasks according to regulations.
• Maintain trip tickets and scale slips for loads hauled.
• Utilize tablets and maintain ELD compliance.
