Qualifications

• This position requires a Class A CDL with no manual restrictions.
• Current DOT physical examination card and clean DMV record are required.
• Insurable DMV record and log hauling experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drives truck and trailer to haul logs from sites to mill.
• Assists with loading/unloading logs and operates picker.
• Abides by Company, DOT, State and Federal transportation safety regulations.
• Ensures load is secured and weight is properly distributed; checks binders and wrappers.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections and submits daily vehicle inspection report.
• Performs basic preventative maintenance to maintain fluids and tire pressures.
